Connecting your Social Media Accounts
Connecting your social media channels to Transpond is simple and easy. There are some different requirements for each channel that the Transpond user setting up the integration must meet;
- Facebook - to connect Transpond to your Facebook Page you must have an active Facebook account and be an admin for at least one Facebook Page.
- Instagram - to connect Transpond to your Instagram Business account you will need an active Facebook account and be an admin for at least one Facebook Page. You will also need to add your Instagram account to your Facebook Page.
- LinkedIn - to connect Transpond to your LinkedIn Business page you must have an active LinkedIn profile and be an admin for at least one LinkedIn Company Page.
- X (formally Twitter) - to connect Transpond to your X account you must be able to log in to the account directly. Connecting Transpond to multiple X accounts or via delegated access is not currently supported.
Transpond will only ever send campaigns on behalf of your connected Facebook Page, Instagram Business Account and LinkedIn Company Page. Transpond will never post to your personal Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn profiles.
- Go to Campaigns > click + Start a Campaign > select Social Media Post
- Give you campaign a name and then click Create Campaign
- You can now click Connect and follow the authorisation steps for each social media account you want to connect.
Clicking Connect for any social channel will open a popup window. If nothing happens when you click Connect, please check that your browser is not blocking popups.
Adding Instagram to your Facebook Page
For Transpond to be able to send social campaigns to your Instagram Business account, you will first need to connect it to your Facebook page. To do this log in to Facebook and switch to the Facebook Page that you are an admin for and that you want to link your Instagram account to:
- On your Facebook page, click Manage.
- Click Linked accounts from the menu on the left hand side of the screen.
- Click Connect Account, confirm the permissions and select if you want to manage Instagram messages via the inbox in Facebook and then enter the credentials for your Instagram Business account.
Disconnecting your Social Media Accounts
To disconnect any of your Social Media accounts;
- Click on your profile image in the top right of the screen and click Integrations.
- Manage next to the social media account you would like to disconnect. Then click Disconnect.
Creating a Social Campaign
- Go to Campaigns > click + Start a Campaign > select Social Media Post

- Use the toggles to select which of your connected channels you want to post the campaign to and then click Next Step

- Customize and tweak your content for each social channel.
If you manage multiple Pages/Accounts you can select which Page to post to and see a preview of how the campaign will look for each channel.
Use the Transpond AI Content Assistant to optimize your content for each social channel. The Transpond AI Content Assistant will add relevant emojis and hashtags.
Check out our channel guidelines for details of the character limit and content requirements for each social channel.
- You can now send your social media campaign. There's the option to send straight away or you can schedule for a later time and/or date.
If you have used links within your campaign you can use Site Tracking to track clicks. Tracking clicks not only provides valuable engagement information, but it is also a way to drive Automations from these interactions.
Once your social media campaign has been sent, you can monitor the performance of the campaign by going to Campaigns > click on the campaign name and here you will see detailed analytics for the campaign by channel.

Using videos in Social Campaigns
When uploading a video to a social post, there are a few important things to note:
- When a video is uploaded, you can select a thumbnail to use for the post, either a set of preselected ones, based on a timestamp, or a custom image.
- Thumbnails are only available on Facebook and LinkedIn posts.
- When using video you can only customize the text in the post, rather than the video per platform, in the next step.
- Social campaigns using videos can't be duplicated.
Social Campaign Analytics
Once your social media campaign has been sent, you can monitor the performance of the campaign by going to Campaigns > Social > then click on the campaign name and here you will see detailed analytics for the campaign by channel in real-time.
Follower History
In the campaign analytics for each campaign as well as monitoring the performance of that campaign, you can also view your Follower History by channel. This view allows you to see changes to your follower count over time, alongside recent campaigns so you can see easily which social media campaigns had a positive (or negative) impact on your number of followers.
This view can also be accessed by clicking on your profile image in the top right corner of the screen > Integrations > click Manage next to the social channel you'd like to view and then click History.
