How to Set Up Capsule Integration Actions
Capsule integration actions let Transpond update Capsule contacts or create notes/tasks when specific events occur in Transpond.
What Integration Actions Are
An integration action is a rule that triggers an update in Capsule when something happens in Transpond, such as:
- Updating a contact
- Adding a note to a contact
- Creating an appointment
- Creating a new contact
Integration actions can be applied in three contexts:
- Account integration actions – apply to all synced Capsule contacts for every campaign.
- Campaign-specific actions – apply only to a particular campaign.
- Automation actions – used within Transpond Automations.
Set Up Global Capsule Integration Actions
These actions apply to all Capsule contacts synced to Transpond.
Steps:
- Go to Company Profile > Integrations.
Click Manage next to the Capsule integration.
Choose which integration actions you want to enable.
- For example, add a note in Capsule when a contact clicks links in multiple campaigns.
- Or add a note when a contact unsubscribes.
- Save your settings
Set Up Campaign-Specific Capsule Actions
These actions run only when sending a specific campaign.
Steps:
- When creating a campaign, proceed to Step 3.
- Click Capsule Options > Add an action.
- Select a trigger (e.g., contact clicks a link).
- Choose the Capsule action you want (e.g., add a note).
- Click Add action
Use Capsule Actions in Automations
Capsule actions can also be included in Transpond automations when specific events occur.
Examples of automation triggers/actions:
- Trigger when an Opportunity is created.
- Trigger when a Case is closed.
- Send a welcome email to a new Capsule contact.
- Add a tag when an opportunity reaches a milestone.
- Update a custom field.
Steps to include Capsule actions in an automation:
- Go to Automations > Create Automation (or edit an existing one).
- Add a trigger related to Capsule (e.g., Opportunity created).
- Add the action(s) you want Capsule to perform.
- Save and activate the automation
