Optimized Delivery
We understand that achieving the best results from your email campaigns is crucial. That’s why we’ve built a smart sending system in Transpond that helps ensure your emails reach your audience at the right time and in the best way possible. Our goal is to ensure your emails have the best chance of being noticed, without requiring you to worry about complex settings.
Why should you use Optimzed Delivery?
- Better engagement: Emails land when your contacts are most likely to open them.
- Reliable delivery: We manage sending speeds to avoid issues with email servers.
- No extra effort: Optimization happens automatically in the background.
Choosing Your Delivery Options
You can select your preferred deliverability option at Step 3 of the email campaign wizard.
The three delivery options are best used in different situations.
- Optimized Delivery - If the contacts in your campaign are not highly engaged or the Group/Segment contains lots of new contacts, Optimized Delivery ensures that the emails are sent first to your most engaged contacts, giving the campaign a better chance of not being flagged as spam by your newer/less engaged contacts.
- Best Engagement - If you are sending a targeted email to your engaged contacts, this ensures the email lands in their inbox when they are most likely to open and engage with the content
- Fast sending - This is best if you need to get your email into contacts' inboxes as quickly as possible. If you want to slow down your campaign manually, you can use our batch sending options, which can help prevent some providers, such as Gmail, from detecting the emails as spam.
Optimized Delivery: Prioritize Engaged Contacts
If the contacts in your campaign are not highly engaged or the Group/Segment contains lots of new contacts, Optimized Delivery ensures that the emails are sent first to your most engaged contacts, giving the campaign a better chance of not being flagged as spam by your newer/less engaged contacts.
To give your campaign the best possible chance of success, we prioritize contacts based on their engagement history. Here’s how we group them:
- Highly Engaged – Contacts who’ve clicked on emails recently.
- Recently Opened – Contacts who’ve opened emails recently.
- Everyone Else – The rest of your audience. By sending in these waves, your most engaged contacts get the email first, while everyone else follows shortly after. This helps maximise opens and clicks early in the campaign.
Optimized Delivery requires that you are on the Starter plan or higher.
Best Engagement: Send When Your Audience is Most Active
Transpond analyses when your contacts typically engage with emails and helps schedule your campaigns to match those times. For example, if a subscriber tends to open emails in the morning, we aim to send your messages when they’re most likely to see them. This approach increases the chances of your emails getting opened, clicked, and acted on - without you needing to do a thing.
Best Engagement requires the Growth plan or higher.
Intelligent Sending Limits
For larger campaigns or when there’s not enough data to fully optimize, we ensure your campaigns are sent at a steady and reliable pace. This helps avoid overwhelming email servers and maintains good deliverability. If needed, we’ll spread your campaign over a few hours to keep things running smoothly without compromising on results.
